Rui Chenggang, a Most Glaring Star in the Sky of CCTV

Rui Chenggang is my favorite English anchor on CCTV International. I am always overwhelmed by his exclusive interviews with VIPs from home and abroad.Sometimes I can't help wondering how he could be so calm,natural,sharp and human at such a young age! It was in the late October of last year that I learned he had accepted a new challenge, being an anchor of a Chinese program,Newslist.The past months witnessed Rui's tremendous progress in anchoring this Chinese program and watching it has already become an inseparable part of my life.

　 He isn't one of those you will take to at the first sight,but he is absolutely a guy you will have a crush on with the passing time.This is largely attributed to his charming personality,profound knowledge and of course proficiency in English.Yes,he is a bit solemn,but his magnetic,unique and wonderful voice and his passion for his job have already softened his looks.I like his bushy brows,his small but pristine eyes,his resolved lips and I even adore his short spotless hair. I find him especially lovely and vigorous when he grins or when he looks down,unawarely showing his prominent cheekbones.Besides, good taste is also one of his many attributes. In short,what strikes me most is his presence.He is there ---on the screen,and your eyes are glued to him as if he took the helm of you. That's a bit similar to Mr Clinton's description of his fascination with Hilary in Rui's interview.What makes difference is that he is an anchor and I am an obsessed viewer.

　 So you see,I am an addict to Rui's two programs,Newslist and Bizchina,which has benefits me a lot and will surely do more in the future.Shakespeare once put,"All is not gold that glitters." But nobody can deny that if it is gold, nothing can stop it from glittering.And Mr Rui is lucky enough to be the glittering gold. He is a most glaring star in the sky of CCTV!
