能吼的女VOCAL素来珍贵，OTEP的主唱就是这种宝物。整张碟嘶吼下来，让人不得不写个“服”字。OTEP的音乐走的是avant garde metal风格（先锋金属。OTEP也有很浓的新金元素），RIFF够厚重，听起来很爽，尤其在有些郁闷的时候，随着女VOCAL一起吼：I hate my life，真的可以发泄心中的郁闷之气。

In Flames，著名旋律死亡金属乐队，“哥德堡之声”的代表乐队之一。这是他们很早期的碟，追溯到1994年，In Flames起家阶段之时。搞笑的是，我弄到手的是日本版本的COPY（据说直到现在，In Flames在日本仍受到英雄般的欢迎，实在难得），有4首BONUS。有不少极端金属的乐迷认为旋律死金根本不能叫极端金属，但不可否认，在瑞典，像In Flames他们这样有优美旋律又不失死亡金属的狂暴的音乐，很适合我这类伪极端迷去听。再看这首《Subterranean》的歌词，呀呀，根本就是情歌嘛！
